Chaos Group Released V-Ray Beta For Autodesk's 3ds Max And Maya


- Chaos Group has Released Beta version 1.5 of the V-Ray rendering engine for Autodesk®
3ds Max® is now available for download. The New features in this version includes; Support for motion blur on Particle Flow systems with both translational and rotational motion blur, New Reinhardt color mapping mode, Sub-pixel and per-pixel color mapping modes, Detail enhancement for the irradiance map, supports 64-bit operating systems, Render elements are fully supported in VRay distributed rendering mode, Support for including/excluding objects from the Toon effect and many more enhancement features. chaos group has also released public beta for Autodesk Maya .

The problem lies with the display device (the CRT or LCD) and that the software is not making adjustments for the gamma that the displays put on our images. That gamma is specifically called »sRGB. Added a parameter Number of passes for the light cache; this allows to achieve the same light cache on single- and multi-processor machines while keeping the advantage of multithreading.
