Communication Arts invites you to enter your work in the 46th Annual Illustration and Photography competitions. Selected, award-winning pieces will appear in Communication Arts magazine, in either the July Illustration Annual or August Photography Annual. City Design Firm Flying High !***

BANGALORE, FEB. 13. For years, Bell Helicopter Textron had preferred a U.S.-based firm to create its stall designs and impress potential customers at international air shows.
But this year a Bangalore-based design company, Fair Interiors, created waves at the "Aero-India 2005" chiselling futuristic designs for not just Bell, but also for State-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO),and two other public sector undertakings

Philip Johnson (98) Died !....Dean of American architecture known for his house of glass

Philip Johnson, the dean of American architecture who defined and redirected architectural thinking and practice for more than seven decades, died Tuesday at his iconic Glass House in New Caanan, Conn. He was 98.
Among his other notable works, some designed with John Burgee, his partner for 20 years, are the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, the world's largest glass building; faceted-glass bank towers in Houston; cultural centers in Bombay, India, and Dade County, Fla., and an architectural sculpture for Qatar.................
